aisehhh...... so mcm mana nih arsenal. dulu bkn main kutuk marah player Birmigham. Even Wenger also shows his fury to Martin Taylor and suggesting that he should not be played no more (well, before he take back those words). After more than a month of the accident happen, Fabregas also light up and open up the question of should the player be punished more severely than just suspended a few game.......so now how Arsenal? should Diaby be banned for his life? or should Diaby be punished more severely? For Arsenal fan, for sure they say "Hell to the no", its just an accident !!!!!!

LONDON, England (AP) -- Real Madrid midfielder Wesley Sneijder sustained a serious left knee injury during a pre-season defeat away to Arsenal, the Spanish club said Sunday. Sneijder, a halftime substitute, had only been on the field for 16 minutes of the 1-0 friendly reverse at Emirates Stadium when he fell under a clumsy challenge by Abou Diaby. Sneijder was clearly in pain as he was carried from the field on a stretcher.

Spanish media said the Netherlands international could be set for a six-month layoff.

Madrid president Ramon Calderon said the Spanish champions were "very annoyed" by Sneijder's injury.

"It's serious and it's the worst news we could get. He has, at the very least, torn his internal ligament. He is very upset, crying because it is a serious problem and very painful," Calderon was quoted as saying by news agency Efe.

Manager Bernd Schuster said the club were "really shocked by the injury."

"Right now it's very difficult," Schuster said. "He's in a lot of pain. They've got to do a lot of tests and right now it doesn't look good."

The 24-year-old former Ajax player has been preparing for his second season at Madrid, which kicks off with a Spanish Supercup first leg against Copa del Rey winner Valencia on August 17.

Madrid's league title defense begins with a trip to Deportivo La Coruna on August 30 or 31.

Sneijder's long-term absence is likely to add to Madrid's desire to sign his compatriot, Hamburg midfielder Rafael van der Vaart. The clubs have yet to agree a fee for the international.
